My Files

My Files is your personal file storage area where you can manage documents uploaded to your Shifton account.


What Is This?

The My Files page (/files) provides a personal file storage space for the currently logged-in user. Unlike Company Files, which are shared across the organization, My Files shows only the files that belong to you. Use it to store personal documents, certificates, or any files relevant to your employment.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Accessing My Files

Click your company name (top-right corner).

Select My Files from the dropdown menu.

Your personal file list loads.

Viewing Your Files

The file table shows the same structure as Company Files but filtered to your uploads only:

Uploading a Personal File

Click the Upload button.

Select a file from your device.

The file uploads and appears in your personal file list.

Downloading a File

Find the file you want to download.

Click the Download action in the Actions column.

The file downloads to your device.

Deleting a File

Find the file you want to remove.

Click the Delete action in the Actions column.

Confirm the deletion. The file is permanently removed.

Q: Can my manager see my personal files?
