What Is This?
The Shifton mobile app is organized into four main sections accessible via the bottom navigation bar. Understanding the layout helps you quickly find what you need — whether it’s your schedule or your time-off requests.

Dashboard (Home)
The Dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in. It shows:
The Dashboard updates in real time whenever your manager makes schedule changes or approves a request.
Schedule
Tap the Calendar icon to view your personal work schedule.
- View your assigned shifts in day, week, or month view.
- Tap any shift to see full details: date, start/end time, break duration, location, marks, and notes.
- If your manager allows shift exchange, you can also see other employees’ shifts from here.
- Swipe left or right to navigate between time periods.
Requests
Tap the Tablet/Document icon to access all requests.

Tap the Three lines icon to open the main menu. From here you can access:

Q: Can I reorder the navigation tabs?
A: No. The tab order is fixed in the current version of the app.
Q: How do I log out?
A: Tap the Menu (hamburger) icon in the bottom navigation, then tap Log out at the bottom of the menu.
Q: Where do I change my notification settings on mobile?
A: Tap Menu → My Profile → Notifications tab. From there you can enable or disable notification types per channel (Push, SMS, Email).
Q: Can an employee access Company Settings through the mobile app?
A: No. Menu → Company Settings is available only for Manager roles and above.
Q: Where in the mobile app can I find my role (Employee, Manager)?
A: Your role is displayed in My Profile. You cannot change your role through the mobile app — this is done by an Administrator in the web version.
Q: Is there an employee search in the mobile app?
A: No. Search and employee management are available only in the web version.
Q: How do I update the Shifton mobile app?
A: Through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). It is recommended to enable automatic updates.
Q: Does the mobile app work offline?
A: No. An internet connection is required for data synchronization, starting and ending shifts.
Q: What should I do if the app freezes or won’t load?
A: Close and reopen the app, check your internet connection, clear the app cache. If the problem persists — reinstall or contact support.
Q: Is the “Forgot password” feature available in the mobile app?
A: Yes. On the login screen, tap “Forgot password?” — a recovery link will be sent to your email.
Q: Can I use the mobile app on a tablet?
A: Yes. The app is compatible with iPad and Android tablets, although the interface is optimized for smartphones.
Q: Where can I view my estimated salary balance?
A: If the Payroll module is connected and the Owner has enabled Show the employee his estimated salary in Salary Settings, the data is visible in My Profile or a dedicated section of the app.
Q: Does the mobile app support multiple companies?
A: Yes. Switching between companies is available through the profile menu — Change company section.
Q: Where do I find the “My Availability” section in the mobile app?
A: Menu (three lines) → When I’m Available. Here you can specify the times and days when you are available to work.
